What a great group of people that I work with. We had a fun little fund raiser this weekend; we hoped to raise $400.00 to $500.00 and ended up raising $1,710.00 for the RE/MAX Realtor’s Legacy Foundation. Our foundation will be donating $1,200.00 to the Salvation Army for Christmas Turkeys this week. Great work everyone!

I know I’ve said this before but I feel incredibly honoured to work with such an amazing and generous group of people at Re/max.  Last year our office started the Re/max Realtors’ Legacy Foundation to build a lasting legacy that would benefit local charities in our region. I’m very proud to say that we’ve passed our first fundraising milestone having raised over $50,000 for the foundation. I had a great 3 hour hike with Laureen and the dogs today. We headed out to Wild Horse Canyon at the end of Lakeshore Rd. We started out at the south entry to the park, as we headed out we saw an osprey flying into it’s nest with a fish to feed it’s young. The trail is in great shape with a lot of great view points over the lake. We hike to the canyon part of the trail about an hour and a half. Very different than the last time we hiked this trail as the last time was before the fire in 2003. We are going to take our mountain bikes and try to ride out to the end of the trail. If you looking for a great local hike, we both highly recommend this hiking this trail.
